For 2011 there will be an increase in membership dues. Thisis the first significant increase in the 15 years MABA has been an active organization. MABA has four classes of membership. These are Public Facility, Business, Alliance and Associate. Public Facilities are municipal agencies or authorities responsible for the production and/or application of biosolids. Business members are consulting engineers, private facility operators, and biosolids application service firms. Alliance members are non-governmental organizations with allied interests, notably agriculture and recycling. These three are dues paying and voting members. Associate memberships are governmental and university members for whom a voting membership and dues payments are inappropriate. For 2011 MABA is also providing sponsorship opportunities, which allow organizations to increase their support of MABA and receive additional benefits.
